We monitor water quality at several points in Lübeck and the environment. At the city lake Mühlenteich/Krähenteich, we maintain a water quality monitoring station at which the concentration and saturation of oxygen are measured continuously. These measurements are transmitted to a server every 12 hours and made available to experts. After quality control of data, these data are published in reports and released to the page openmeteo.org. We also maintain measurements of water quality parameters at Spülfeld in the north of Lübeck.
Intensive water quality monitoring campaigns on seawater intrusion and salinization have been carried out within the project MEDSAL. The results are published on the webpage http://www.medsal.eu.
